Wisdomjobs terms allegations baseless; to take legal action on Gulf News
Wisdom jobs warned Mazar Farooqui, Features Editor of Gulf News, of legal action for his baseless and untrue allegations in which he also alleged Wisdom jobs attracts job seekers with fake job offers.
The recent coverage by Mazar Farooqui clearly shows that he is targeting India-based company with a personal agenda. This is a clear case of faux-journalism undertaken by a journalist with ulterior motives. Wisdomjobs shall do everything in its power to counter this. Wherefore, wisdomjobs hereby issues a 24-hour ultimatum to the said journalist to prove his claims - failing which, Wisdom jobs shall resort to all legal recourses at its disposal.
Wisdomjobs stated, “We are extremely disgusted by his lack of journalistic ethics and greed to get fame by playing cheap tricks in the garb of journalism. True journalists never publish half- truths. You are completely unaware of Wisdomjobsgulf.com'sbusiness model and policies but still you have passed a wrong statement to the people stating that we are calling job aspirants and asking them to take the services.”
“We are sure that you are not aware of our T&C to understand our processes in a detailed way. You are so desperate to publish an article without any basis - with the intention of attracting viewership. “
Wisdomjobs.com said further said, “It was very clear from your article that you are trying to peddle baseless allegations against us. Being a career support provider, we openly challenge you to prove your statement in 24 hours - as we are sure there is not a single call made to job seekers from Wisdomjobsgulf.com after Jan 25th to offer any service. It was also not mentioned in your article that the Indian court has given stay due to lack of evidence to prove the baseless allegations. We need your immediate response to our challenge to prove your allegations. “
