Built on a company culture that believes nothing is impossible, female founder Monica Sanita and co-founders Alex Lacroix and Chris Matte have grown their spirit brand like a rose from the concrete.
The startup announced another equity raise is underway this week and shows no signs of slowing down. Siempre Tequila has been gaining traction in it's incubation phase and has proven to be scalable with expansion underway in several new key markets.
With the rising consumer demand for agave-based spirits, there has been an increase in mergers and acquisitions in the tequila sector. Recent acquisitions of companies like Tequila Avion (valued at $2B), Casamigos (valued at $1B) and Patron Spirits (valued at $5.1B) put Siempre and the tequila category as a whole in a great position.
In 3 short years, the company has grown from being listed in Sobeys Liquor and Safeway Wine & Spirits to a general listing with the world's single largest spirit buyer, the LCBO. This, followed by Quebec's SAQ, Co-op Wine & Spirits and major US retailers BevMo! and Ralph's after its $1M angel round of funding.

The company's introductory product, Siempre Plata has won 8 international awards including platinum and consumers choice in the SIP awards and a gold medal from The Beverage Testing Institute, who awarded Grey Goose its claim to fame "Best tasting Vodka" title.
In late 2018, Siempre Spirits introduced its first addition to their core range with the launch of an Añejo Tequila. Soon after it’s release the Anejo received it's first accolades: "Best Anejo Tequila" and Gold Medal in the World's 50 best tequila category. The Company plans on completing it’s core line this year with its Reposado tequila and will add two new ultra-premium SKUs.

Over the last few months, the team has closed several new distribution deals including entry into Florida, entry into New York and New Jersey through Lieber Bros Fine Wine & Spirits, Connecticut via Hartley & Parker, and Michigan via Great Lakes Wine & Spirits. The company has also appointed international distributor broker, Liberty Lighthouse Group. Liberty Lighthouse has helped to build spirit giants overseas in Asia, Europe and the UK, including Patron, Casa Noble, KAH Tequila and Brokers Gin. Currently Siempre Tequila is available in: California, New York, Nevada, national in Canada, national in Ireland and high volume tourist areas in Mexico.
