The Building Learning Communities (#BLC19), 2019 education conference, hosted by best-selling education author Alan November, will be offering solutions to educators to empower their students with the skills they need to be lifelong learners. Education Conference strands include: Design Thinking, Mindfulness, Authentic Problem Solving, Building Sustainable Change, Global Collaboration, Leadership, Storytelling, Digital Literacy, Learning Environments and more.
Alan has handpicked keynote speakers that our renown for their ability to impart practical solutions such Harvard’s director of Creative Computing Lab, Dr. Karen Brennan, discussing constructionist approach to learning environments in K-12 classrooms, and Dr. Moran Cerf sharing his skills on creativity and how to craft stories to help our children learn. The education conference takes place at the recently renovated Park Plaza Hotel in downtown Boston from July 17 - 19, 2019. Pre-conference master classes take place from July 14 - 16. Registration is now open, and there are two ways to save on the registration fee: First, take advantage of early bird registration before April 25 to save $50 per person. Second, come with a of team of three or more and tap potential savings up to $250.00 per person.
Passion driven presenters from around the world coupled with after-hours education and social events helps the BLC stand apart from other learning conferences. A large part of its success, and the reason why the BLC is celebrating its 20th Anniversary, is due to its ability to foster professional development networking and inspire educators to develop powerful strategies to expand the boundaries of learning.
