The Scottish Spirits Association (SSA) is endorsing alcohol free beverages ArKay confirming that the brand’s claim of being ‘’ an alcohol free whisky flavored drink is LEGAL.
A spokesman for the Scottish Spirits Association said ‘’ “The product as labelled is LEGAL under EU and US laws because ArKay is not marketing its drink as an alcohol free whisky but rather as an alcohol free whisky flavored drink , there is nothing wrong to market this product as an alcohol free whisky flavored drink because it does not contain any alcohol; and the company advertising is very clear about it : It’s not alcohol, it’s not whisky, it’s Arkay ®.
