Pediatric expert, Dr. Erlinda L. Koo, MD has been named Patient Preferred Pediatric Consultant for 2019 by the exclusive network of Patient Preferred Physicians & Practitioners.
Dr. Koo brings compassion, along with five decades of knowledge and achievements in her specialty. She is now consulting on multiple facets of pediatrics, including prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of children’s diseases. Inspired to be the best in the field of medicine, Dr. Koo began her medical journey at the University of Santo Tomas Faculty of Medicine and Surgery, Manila, Philippines where she graduated in 1967. She went on to do an Internship in her transitional year at UPMC- Shadyside Hospital, 1969; and her completed residencies at Maimonides Medical Center, 1971; and SUNY Health Science Center at Brooklyn, 1973. She is affiliated with Garfield Medical Center and speaks multiple languages including Chinese, English, Spanish and Vietnamese.
