For the fourth consecutive year, The British Educational Services Agency- BESA is organizing the British Trophy. Football Tournament in partnership with Teesside University, Middlesbrough F.C, and the University of Roehampton between International high schools in Egypt at the end of February 2019.

With Egyptians' strong passion towards Football, our CEO, Mohamed Abd el Tawab quoted “We aim to promote physical education through organizing sports tournaments and encourage students to look forward for their academic future ahead by giving them a chance to explore their options around the world and promote UK universities to Egyptian students.”

The British Trophy 2019 is sponsored by “The Knowledge Hub | International University Institution of Egypt”, a new international university campus located at the New Administrative Capital. Coventry University is opening its first branch in Egypt at The Knowledge Hub. First cohort of students will start in September 2019 enrolling in undergraduate degrees in Engineering, Computing, and Media. Coventry University ranks 13th as the country’s top modern university in the Guardian University Guide 2019 and is top in the UK – and third in Europe – for how well it engages with its students according to the Times Higher Education (THE) Europe Teaching Rankings 2018. Over 24 International schools are participating to play against each other, and the winning team will receive the trophy on the last day. The winning team will get the opportunity to visit Middlesbrough City, including Teesside University and Riverside Stadium; home to the Middlesbrough F.C, Newcastle, and London.

The handing prizes ceremony will take place on the 13th of March 2019 at Intercontinental City Stars, Cairo, which is also the first day of BESA’s International Educational fair, where top university representatives from around 10 countries, on top of them our number one partnered country; United Kingdom, are present in order to give presentations, one-to-one counselling and extensive knowledge to Egyptian students who are interested in studying abroad. It is a chance for all students, including those who are participating in the British Trophy to attend and discuss their academic options.

For the first time in Egypt and the Middle East, The British Trophy started in 2014, in partnership with University of Sunderland, Sunderland A.F.C, University of Roehampton, and Sinai University. Consequently, the winners of the previous tournament visited, the University of Sunderland, The Stadium of Light, and University of Roehampton in London.

BESA was established in 2012 and has expanded since beginning of 2014 into an international entity on which students from the MENA region depend on and trust their academic paths. Expansions took place internally in Northern Egypt and externally in Sudan and Kuwait. BESA had only started through partnerships with universities in the UK, however it has grown to be dealing with over 10 countries offering a number of services which include; foundation programs, university placements, undergraduate and postgraduate degrees, language courses, visa assistance and accommodation placement.

The British Educational Services Agency (BESA), specializes in the field of studying abroad and offers a wide variety of services and therefore helps students' study in over 10 countries on top of them UK, Hungary, Germany, Canada, Australia, USA, Malaysia, etc...

There are also important events organized by BESA, which include the School fairs, the International Educational Fair, and the British Trophy. They also aim to expand further by organizing more events that engage with everybody since the British Trophy is only for high school males.
