The 9tofive Corona Pivot: Personal Styling to Personal Protective Equipment

05/14/2020 10:00 - United States, New York, New York - (PR Distribution™)

Aaron Clanton started 9tofive with the goal of making high-quality made-to-measure suits accessible to everyone. In February, suit sales halted as the spread of COVID-19 caused cancellations of social events and professional offices to shut down. Upon hearing New York Governor Andrew Cuomo’s call for the private sector to source Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), Clanton was quick to pivot and launch 9tofive Supply. Using his network in China and South East Asia, 9tofive was able to quickly source and contract production with reliable PPE manufacturers.

As a certified New York State and New York City Minority Business Enterprise (MBE), 9tofive has supplied PPE, including N95 masks, isolation gowns, and examination gloves to the Government of New York City, Roswell Park Cancer Institute, Talladega College and others. Using the LinkNYC Kiosk network, 9tofive’s venture into PPE has gained the attention of New York City businesses in need of protective supplies to continue their own operations. 9tofive has become a leader in PPE supply, providing almost 50,000 medical masks, gowns and gloves locally and nationally. They have since branched out into producing fashionable fabric designer masks for the everyday consumer.
