St. Stephen Vineyards, LLC today announced the introduction of its premium organic wines in Colorado. Each has won medals in key blind tasting wine competitions, including Tasters’ Guild, Indy, Los Angeles International, San Francisco International, and the Sommeliers Choice Awards.
Founded in 2008, St. Stephen Vineyards is headquartered in the Colchagua Valley of Chile, with U.S. sales offices in San José, California. St. Stephen Vineyards is a cause-based organization, whose proceeds benefit environmental organizations.
St. Stephen Vineyards is represented in Colorado by First Step Beverage Company. “We’re excited to introduce these wines.” said John Edgerly, Vice President of First Step Beverage in Colorado. “We’re responding to the growing demand for premium organic wines. We are working to become the market leader in Colorado for premium organic quality wines”.
St. Stephen Vineyards owner, Tim Edwards said, “Organic wine is the fastest growing segment in the beverage market. We’re grateful for the recognition we’ve received, and medals won in the past year. We are excited to continue our success in Colorado. We are thankful that, through our efforts, we are able to contribute to the mitigation of climate change.”
Edwards continues, “Much of our success has been built upon our wine’s excellent quality, and the experience and passion of our winemaker, José Antonio Bravo von Bischoffshausen”. Says José Antonio, “Wine is a noble product of great tradition throughout the course of human history. It is a source of joy and satisfaction and brings people together in happiness. This is why I love making wine.”
