Share That Love Holiday Season Tour

12/13/2018 06:00 - HOLLYWOOD, CA - (PR Distribution™)

What: Recording artist, Laura Angelini’s “Share That Love Holiday Season Tour”
When: Throughout December 2018
Where: Senior and nursing home facilities throughout Southern California.
Why: A way to “Share That Love” and brighten the lives of some who’d otherwise be alone or forgotten on the holidays.

While other recording artists plan tours on concert stages across the country to make big bucks and delight the masses this holiday season, Southern California singer and humanitarian, Laura Angelini is kicking off the release of her single “Share That Love/What The World Needs Now” with a tour of local senior, nursing home and rehabilitation facilities.

The purpose? To “Share That Love” with seniors and others who may be sad or lonely during the holidays.

“A lot of people are busy at the holidays and may leave their loved ones alone during Christmas,” Angelini says, adding, “I want to give this gift and cheer (the seniors) up and spread Christmas joy.”

She’s already booked at about a dozen facilities — from San Diego to Ventura County — and plans to book additional one-hour mini concerts at other nursing homes across Southern California now through New Year’s Eve.

“I want to keep it simple, just me singing Christmas carols and letting (the seniors) sing with me,” Angelini says: “I will end the concerts with the finale, my new song, ‘Share the Love/What the World Needs Now,’ because that’s what we all need now — love.”

This desire to spread joy and love around the world, to those who need it most, is nothing new for the philanthropic singer, whose stints in the recording studio are more than ways to shine light on her own musical aptitudes.

In addition to recording and sharing her music in concerts, Angelini is the founder of ShareThatLove.org, a philanthropic organization, which provides funds from sales of music and performances to worthy causes that help: people and humanity; oceans and the environment; and, animals.

Through that venue, Angelini also works with Angels of Charity and Music (ACM), a California 501(c)(3) organization of artists, missionaries, doctors, nurses and many others who dedicate their talents and gifts to giving love and service to children and adults in need. ACM serves children and adults through projects in Peru, Mexico and the United States.

Earlier this year, Angelini traveled to Peru as a volunteer with an ACM medical mission project that provided dentistry and free surgeries to more than 250 children and adults with cleft palate; ear microtia; nose, throat, hand and feet deformities and gastrointestinal maladies.

Also this month, Angelini is scheduled to perform at ACM’s fundraising event Dec. 8 in Downey, Calif., "Help A Child Smile This Christmas."

Angelini has been singing since she was a child and spent some of her young years as a backup vocalist in the iconic Andy Williams Christmas tours.

She’s since sung and recorded music for people of all ages, from pre-schoolers on up.

Her new single, “Share That Love/What The World Needs Now,” is being released through Del Oro Music on iTunes and Spotify.

Angelini says 2018 has been “an amazing journey of giving back locally and globally.”

She’s hoping the holiday tour will add to what’s becoming her “Legacy of Love.”

“We all have an opportunity to make our own legacy,” she says. “My choice is to leave what I call a ‘Legacy of Love,’ and leave my world a better place — I want to spread love and joy.”
