SETLISTER Introduces Online Song Request Service

07/30/2019 09:00 - United States, Arizona, Phoenix - (PR Distribution™)

Artists get tipped on Setlister for song requests from their audience

Setlister is making musicians and DJs more money at gigs with tips for online song requests.  Setlister is a new platform that allows audience members at live music events to request songs. Setlister is the brain child of musician Pete Anthony Gonzales, Jr., a familiar name in the Phoenix Music Scene.

You’re at a live music show at a large venue, a wedding, or a coffee house.  You go to setlister.com and you see a list of live music events in your area - you click on the show and browse a list of songs the artist can perform.  Click on the song to send the artist a $5 tip to perform the song. You listen to the stuff you like and you support artists. Win, win.

Setlister started taking requests in June of 2018.  Solo artists in coffee shops, rock bands at concert venues, and DJ’s at weddings have been using Setlister to supplement their gig income.  Artists that have used Setlister are saying things like, “You’ve got something real special here”, “It works great, and it’s easy”, “$5 last night, $15 tonight. Loving it bro. Seriously a thumbs up.''.  Seth Gooby, a father, a chef by day, and a singer-songwriter who performs in coffee houses uses the proceeds from the song request tips to donate to local food charities. A few other notables in Phoenix using Setlister include The Sugar Thieves, Dan Lovelock, and Lee Perreira.

About Setlister:  Setlister was founded by working musician Pete Anthony Gonzales, Jr. and Phoenix, AZ business owner Rick Gallegos with help from Paul Keck at Workhorse Ventures, a Phoenix company that works with tech entrepreneurs and Super Developer Dave Balmer of QA Nerds Software and QA Consultants.
