Local Spa Returns After Devasting Fire & Pandemic-Related Challenges
Clive, IA - November 18, 2021 -- Tis the season for new beginnings, especially for Serendipity Spa, as the business resumes full-swing operations after an eventful 2021. From a devastating fire in May that closed operations for four months, plus restrictions due to the pandemic, Serendipity has persevered against all odds.
But the first thing on the agenda since their return wasn’t for profit. Instead, they raised $4,000 in a donation drive for their neighboring business, Clive Community Services, a branch of the Food Bank of Iowa that has also struggled through the pandemic and fire.
“We are looking forward to the new start,” says Serendipity Spa Owner and Clinical Aesthetician Melissa Poley. “Our team is revitalized and our services are even better than they were before the fire! Our facility has been completely renovated, we’ll continue to promote the importance of mind-body-spirit and overall, mental health. We address more than just skin at Serendipity Spa; our goal is for our client’s confidence to be overflowing when they walk out of our doors.”
Serendipity Spa is now booking appointments for all services, including the following services: Facials, Microneedling, Lash and Brow Services, Nails, Massage, Mediumship Readings, Empowerment Coaching, Sound Meditation, Spiritual Guidance Sessions.
