Room 8 Group has appointed Brian Waddle as President of Worldwide Sales and Marketing. Most recently Brian worked as North America & Japan Business Development for QLOC, focused on AAA game development, QA, and Localization. Before that, he served as President of Sales & Marketing at Virtuos and Global VP Sales & Marketing at Havok. In 2019 he also helped put together a group of investors that purchased Telltale Games. He will continue to sit on the Board of Telltale while taking on his new responsibilities at Room 8 Group.
In his role, Brian will oversee Sales & Marketing for Room 8 Group which is currently over 400 people and growing. He will support the Group's expansion to Canada, the UK, and Japan. Brian will be critical in driving a comprehensive go to market strategy targeted to better supporting industry and customer needs. He will work closely with both Room 8 Studio and Dragon’s Lake Entertainment to ensure a sound organizational structure in support of these important growth initiatives.
Brian’s games experience and professional background includes over 15 years at companies like Microsoft, Intel, Virtuos, Havok and others in executive roles related to both sales and marketing with the objective of overall company growth. Brian brings a wealth of industry knowledge, senior management talent, and trusted relationships to the Room 8 Group.
