HARVEY, LOUISIANA -- Punctual Abstract, one of the largest national title abstracting firms, has hired Ted Woloszyk as its new Chief Executive Officer.
Woloszyk has a proven track record of growing business and using new technology to streamline processes at some of the largest title and settlement organizations in the country.
“He has the operations skills we need right now,” said Punctual’s founder and owner Steve Daigle, Sr. “Ted has created new lines of business. He has meaningful experience working in all 50 states. He gives us a level of expertise both technologically and geographically that other national abstracting firms just don’t have.”
During Ted’s four-year tenure as Associate Vice President of Vendor Management at Title Source, the nation’s largest independent provider of title insurance, property valuations and settlement services, the company grew from 400 to 2,200 employees.
For his work building out the third-party oversight program for Title Source and Quicken Loans, Ted was awarded the Gilbert Award for innovation in 2011.
While Vice President of Vendor Management at LandAmerica Lender Services from 2002 to 2009, Ted managed eight teams of 110 full-time employees and 20,000 vendors, successfully restructuring workflows to increase productivity by 220 percent in just 18 months.
He received the Star Award (Service That Attracts Recognition) on two occasions at LandAmerica and implemented Six Sigma methodologies that reduced mortgage recording turn times by 50 percent.
Most recently, while serving as COO for McDonnell and Associates, PA, Ted helped create Boomerang Title, the firm’s TRID-compliant national title agency specializing in real estate transaction services and Unauthorized Practice of Law (UPL) compliance in attorney states. In addition to leading the organization’s operations, account, technology, and sales teams, Ted guided the firm and title agency through a system change from SoftPro to ResWare.
Ted says he has the experience to take Punctual Abstract to the next level. He aims to add new customers by creating new products and services, but also plans on increasing market share by sticking with what has worked in the past for Punctual.
“I want to take my years of experience in operations and help Punctual Abstract grow as a business—not just from a revenue perspective, but in a way that streamlines Punctual’s processes. I want to continually exceed customers’ expectations by improving on our core competencies.”
