Charity catch-and-release tournament helps local Pinellas County students go to college.
The Pinellas County Gators Club invites Florida anglers across the state to participate in the 7th Annual Orange & Blue Tarpon Tournament on Saturday, June 15th, 2019 at the Madeira Beach Marina. This charitable tournament has fees that range in-between $200 - $305 and multiple corporate sponsorship's are available as well. The tournament kicks off with a Captain’s Meeting & Social on June 13th at 7PM with food, beer specials, and a raffle with some great prizes.
If you love the idea of fishing for a cause, the tournament is the perfect place to enjoy a day on the water and help local students become Florida Gators. The Gators Club is partnering with the Old Salt Fishing Foundation for the event to guarantee an exciting catch-and-release tournament, without any negative impact to the Tarpon. The tournament begins at 6:30AM Saturday, June 15th and this year also includes a brand-new kayak division.
Thanks to the Title Sponsor of the event, Frito-Lay, winners will receive guaranteed payouts of up up to $2500.
1st Place - $2500
2nd Place - $1000
3rd Place - $500

Additionally, Courtyard by Marriott Madeira Beach is the hotel sponsor and special lodging rates are available thanks to their contribution.
