New multi-course series aimed at photographers seeking to master product retouching
Photigy School of Photography announced today the immediate release of Mastering Product Retouching, Part One, a new digital video course designed to teach the fundamentals of product retouching to photographers of all skill levels. The course instructor,
Artem Pissarevskiy, is a professional retoucher based in Finland with more than six years of commercial experience retouching images for a wide range of high-profile clients.
“This multi-course series begins by laying the foundation for good retouching techniques and practices, teaching the fundamental skills required to produce consistent, high-quality images,” Pissarevskiy said.
The series will take users through a scaffolded curriculum from Beginner to Advanced, with each subsequent course building on the skills taught in the previous course. In Part One, Pissarevskiy takes a methodical, step-by-step approach to the fundamentals, addressing such topics as the importance of a nondestructive workflow and color-accurate processing of raw files before guiding students through the basics of image repair and cleanup, dodging and burning, color correction, and file output.
“We are excited to launch this new course series, especially during this uncertain time when many photographers are seeking options to enhance their skills while working from home,” said Alex Koloskov, CEO and founder of Photigy School of Photography.
Details on the new course, including curriculum and pricing are available on the Mastering Product Retouching course webpage.
