Noice Industries Launches Active Shooter Response detects a gunshot and deploys a crash resistant UAS to stop an active shooter within seconds of the first shot.

03/28/2019 06:00 - United States - (PR Distribution™)

The main objective of Active Shooter Response is to stop or deter an active shooter, during those crucial moments after the first shot is fired and before first responders arrive.

The solution is initiated by a state-of-the-art gunshot detector and includes a UAS pilot integrated into the security team.  The 14” diameter crash resistant UAS called a “Snipe”, is placed in a secure but quickly deployable position inside buildings, halls, classrooms, parking lots, theaters, malls, churches, synagogues, temples, mosques, night clubs, any public or private facilities.  A “Snipe” can also be deployed through a window or a small opening. The UAS carries a non-lethal counter measure (pepper spray), and our pilots are experts at flying “Snipe” indoors fast, in confined spaces.

Active Shooter Response initiates a mass shooter notification that starts with 911 and includes administration, onsite security, management, employees, faculty, contractors, students and our pilot. The pilot receives an alert with the location of the shots fired and this initiates the non-lethal UAS response.

Administration, onsite security, and the UAS pilot operate on “Pointer” our tactical application, that puts information in the right hands at the right time. The Pointer provides communication and collaboration single dashboard based on their defined role, responsibility and location.

“Snipe” also carries a camera that streams video from inside the facility in real time, delivering images of the shooter, the weapon, the victims and potential victims. This situational awareness is useful for both onsite security and first responders in deciding how they are going engage the shooter and deal with the situation.

Active Shooter Response includes options like social media monitoring or smart sensors that provide wide range of detection capabilities, facial recognition, license plate identification motion, vibration, sound, smells, gases, balance, temperature, radiation and electrical voltage.

These high-tech detection and early warning systems are safer, less expensive, and more productive than a human or physical barrier, and provides mission-critical feedback to people in the area and any personnel that need to be notified.

IoT-based safety and monitoring solutions for securing vulnerable and hazardous zones, large and small. The smart sensor solutions combine IoT technology with the rich selection of sensors and alert mechanisms available today to create an intelligent and completely scalable safety and monitoring solution.

Active Shooter Response is low cost and can be configured to fit the needs of the client.  The system is manufacturer agnostic, allowing clients the flexibility to integrate with almost any security system currently installed.

Noice Industries is doing a media launch on March 30, 5p.m. at 950 W. Alondra Blvd., across from Tomorrow’s Aeronautic Museum, or the Compton Airport.  Noice in is also exhibiting and ISC-West, April 10-12 at the Sands in Las Vegas and hosting a media conference at our booth #40833 at 11a.m. on April 11.

Noice Industries secures all physical infrastructure, including access control, airspace, buildings, connected devices (IoT), facilities, equipment, land, operational technologies (OT) and property. Noice Industries produces autonomous and turnkey surveillance solutions that deliver actionable intelligence and situational awareness in real-time, from confined spaces or critical infrastructure to the most difficult and remote locations.  We utilize UAS and smart sensors to provide continuous day and night aerial, all-terrain, marine, sub-terrain, indoor, outdoor surveillance solutions.

The state-of-the-art gunshot detector sends a shooter alert within seconds of a gunshot to our UAS pilot who is integrated into the existing onsite security team or placed in a remote monitoring location. “Snipe” UAS carry a non-lethal counter measure (pepper spray), and our pilots are experts at flying “Snipe” indoors fast, in confined spaces.
