Tennessee-based aromatherapy company creates a forest with proceeds from essential oil diffuser sales
MONQ, a Tennessee-based natural wellness company, celebrated Earth Month this April by donating a portion of proceeds from Forest diffuser sales to plant trees. Trees, Therapeutic Air®, and botanicals are at the heart of the aromatherapy company’s mission.
“MONQ created our Forest blend as a part of the Feel Nature® line to deliver Therapeutic Air to our customers, anytime, anywhere,” CEO Eric Fishman, M.D. said. “We know that trees emit terpenes, which are essential to our physical and emotional health. Yet, many are not able to get out in nature everyday to breathe these molecules. MONQ is excited to not only deliver wellness on the go but also contribute to the health of our customers and the environment by planting 1,300 trees.”
Since 2017, MONQ has donated to the Canopy Project, supporting the organization’s reforestation efforts and contributing to their goal of planting 7.6 billion trees—one for every person on Earth— by the 50th anniversary of Earth Day in 2020.
The Canopy Project’s efforts directly align with MONQ’s mission of bringing wellness to many.
