mLife Diagnostics LLC of Marshall, Texas announced the release of the first version of its mLifeDX VerifyTM oral fluid testing devices. The mLife Verify product line enables rapid screening for drugs of abuse and infectious or other diseases with a simultaneously-collected split sample in a glass vial for subsequent laboratory testing. mLife Verify products utilize a unique and patented dual swab/confirmation vial architecture, with up to fourteen lateral flow assay strips for rapid screening for drugs and diseases and a true split sample providing an unadulterated specimen for laboratory testing.
"The mLife Verify device is world's first and only true split sample assay testing device with a built-in confirmation vial,” said Alan Loudermilk, mLife’s CEO. “For drugs of abuse and infectious diseases, the instant screen with the assay strips, backed by the ability to have laboratory testing of a simultaneously-collected sample, is a first in the industry,” added Hunt Allred, mLife’s President.
Dr. Raouf Guirguis, Chief Scientific Officer of mLife, stated: "The mLife Verify device is based on years of research and development. We are working with some of the best minds in medicine and science, and I am confident that the mLife Verify device will become the standard of care for clinical, law enforcement and other applications requiring rapid screening for drugs and diseases backed by state of the art laboratory testing. The world is recognizing the efficacy of oral fluids testing, and mLife is at the forefront of this rapidly growing field."
About mLife Diagnostics:
mLife Diagnostics was founded on the principal that point of care testing needs to change. Testing with urine and blood is too invasive, too slow and in certain environments not always possible. mLife advances the use of oral fluids with a rapid screen that is backed by laboratory testing with a true split sample. The mLife Verify device initially is available in 11 panel and 7 panel drug test versions. Subsequent versions will be released for other combinations of drugs and/or diseases to address existing and future health and safety issues.
