Multiverse Capital™ (Multiverse) is pleased to announce that Martin (Marty) Dirks has joined the firm as Head of the Investment Committee. Multiverse Capital has 3 global cannabis/hemp venture funds covering ancillary, medicinal and recreational sectors of the legal cannabis and hemp industries. Multiverse, along with its advisory group 3C Consulting, LLC, the leading strategic global cannabis consulting company, have operated in 13 countries and 30 US states, helping nearly 300 cannabis and hemp companies with structuring, strategy, licensing applications, and operations.
Marty has a long history in fund management with over twenty years of experience as an institutional investment manager. He has been a long/short equity analyst/portfolio manager at Harvard University’s Endowment Fund and also served at Feshbach Brothers and Odyssey Partners. At Harvard, he was the sole manager of a technology equity portfolio that grew from $110 million to $870 million. As an investment consultant at Milliman, he advised pension plans, endowments, and foundations and was the in-house expert for hedge funds, venture capital, private equity, and other alternative investments. Marty is a Senior Adjunct Professor of Finance at Golden Gate University in San Francisco. He holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BS in Engineering Physics.
