Mobile, Alabama -- Long & Long Attorneys at Law, located in Mobile, Alabama, has recently offered a scholarship opportunity for students. The $500 scholarship will be awarded to one high school senior who will be attending a college or university in Alabama.
The founders, Earle and Bennett Long, are Alabama natives and immensely enjoy serving the place they call home. For this reason, the firm decided to create a scholarship to support a young student’s educational journey.
Education is an important cause for the Long brothers. They believe that learning not only benefits the student but develops strong workers, which in return creates a brighter future for everyone. However, the high cost of college tuition prevents many students from pursuing higher education. Long & Long hopes that their scholarship opportunity will help alleviate some of the financial hardships of college so that one student can pursue their academic dreams.
In order to apply, students must submit the name of the school they will attend, a copy of their acceptance letter, and a list of all extracurricular activities, community service involvement, and any awards they’ve received.
