Dr. John F. Weston, co-owner and lead cosmetic dentist at Scripps Center for Dental Care, was recently invited to be a featured speaker at CDA Presents: Anaheim 2019, the California Dental Association’s semi-annual meeting of renowned cosmetic dentists and industry leaders alike. With this event typically attracting over 27,000 dental professionals from all over the world, Dr. Weston spoke at several lectures during the four-day event, with topics ranging from improved techniques in smile design to full mouth restoration of the teeth and gums.
Taking place in Anaheim and San Francisco, the CDA Presents The Art and Science of Dentistry features over 200 courses, lectures, and workshops covering all aspects of cosmetic dentistry. This half-yearly event allows dental professionals to stay informed about the constantly evolving techniques and treatment protocols that can lead to improved patient outcomes. Dr. Weston spoke at four sessions during the much-anticipated gathering, his lectures consisting of two hands-on dental workshops, a discourse on cosmetic smile design, and a Q & A panel with other prominent dental academics discussing restorative dentistry.
As an Accredited Fellow of the AACD, staying up-to-date on the latest innovations in cosmetic dentistry is essential to Dr. Weston. Dr. John Weston is the co-owner and lead cosmetic dentist at Scripps Center for Dental Care. He is among few dentists to earn the status of “Accredited Fellow” from the AACD, which is regarded as the highest tier of certification for the field. In addition to serving an elected position to the American Board of Cosmetic Dentistry, Dr. Weston is also a fellowship and accreditation examiner for the organization. In addition, Dr. Weston is a member of the California Dental Association, the American Dental Association, and the San Diego County Dental Society, among other professional organizations.
