Jason Van Camp, Founder and Executive Director of Warrior Rising and CEO of Mission Six Zero was recently selected as Top Military Entrepreneur of the Year 2020 by the International Association of Top Professionals (IAOTP) for his outstanding leadership and dedication to the industry.
Inclusion with the International Association of Top Professionals is an honor in itself, as only a few members in each discipline are chosen for this distinction. These special honorees are distinguished based on their professional accomplishments, academic achievements, leadership abilities, longevity in the field, other affiliations and contributions to their communities. All honorees are invited to attend the IAOTP’s annual award gala at the end of this year for a night to honor their achievements.
With close to 2 decades of professional experience as an entrepreneur and his service in the military, Mr. Van Camp has certainly proven himself as an accomplished professional and expert in the field. He is a results-driven leader who has demonstrated success not only as a decorated Green Beret, but also as a world traveler, entrepreneur, author, mentor and key-note speaker. As the CEO of Mission Six Zero, Jason provides customized leadership programs and guides his clientele as an experienced speaker whose stories and experiences resonate with any audience.
Jason’s key areas of expertise include but are not limited to Strategic Planning, Analysis, Start-Ups, Business Strategy, Planning, Management Consulting, Organizational Development, Team Leadership, Coaching/Mentoring, Funding Opportunities, Marketing Research and Strategy.
Before embarking on his professional career path, Jason was accepted to the United States Military Academy at West Point in 1995. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Russian Studies and is fluent in Russian. After graduating from West Point, he volunteered to attend U.S. Army Ranger School in Fort Benning, GA and earned his Ranger Tab in 2002. Jason later received his Master of Business Administration from Brigham Young University in 2013 which is when his passion for entrepreneurship evolved.
Throughout his remarkable career, Mr. Van Camp has received many awards and accolades and has been recognized worldwide for his merits and extensive knowledge. For 2020, he is being considered for a Front Cover feature in T.I.P. (Top Industry Professionals) Magazine and is being honored as Top Military Entrepreneur of the Year by the International l Association of Top Professionals (IAOTP). Jason won the prestigious General Loeffke Award of Excellence in Foreign Languages once he graduated from West Point. He won the coveted Green Beret, as well as earning the Bronze Star with V device for Valor and two additional Bronze Stars during numerous combat rotations as a Special Forces Detachment Commander.

Aside from his successful career, Mr. Van Camp is also a sought-after public speaker, nonprofit and published author. He has been an invited guest on many media and news outlets to speak about his book Deliberate Discomfort, and to discuss his non-profit organization Warrior Rising which raises funds to help Veterans.
Looking back, Jason attributes his success to his determination, resourcefulness, passion for helping Veterans and mentors he has had along the way.
When not working Mr. Van Camp enjoys studying the history of the Roman Empire, supporting D.C. professional sports teams, traveling and spending time with his wife, Elizabeth and their two children. For the future, Mr. Van Camp hopes to continue to make a difference in people’s lives and Veterans anyway that he can.
