Italy Becoming a Popular Destination for Drone Pilots

10/23/2018 14:00 - MINNEAPOLIS - (PR Distribution™)

The wine. The food. The history. It’s no surprise that Italy is one of the most popular travel destinations in the world. With a variety of Italian cities often appearing as must-see destinations, there is no shortage of tourists visiting the European country every year.

One direct result of the large number of visitors that travel to Italy each year is a surge in the amount of aerial footage of Italy found on AirVuz.com, the world’s premier aerial content community.

From Rome to Florence to the Cinque Terre, drone pilots have fallen in love with Italy’s natural beauty and historic architecture. As drones have become more portable and easier to bring with on world travels, that means more drones are flying in Italy’s skies and capturing all the sights from an aerial vantage point.

Many of those pilots are uploading their videos to AirVuz, which has in turn curated some of the best content from Italy into a variety of video collections. Italian gems can be found in a number of different places in AirVuz’s collection pages.

In the “Regions of Countries” page, a team of AirVuz staff has identified some of the best aerial videos from six different regions of Italy. That includes 20 videos of central Italy, featuring lesser-visited destinations such as Umbria, Abruzzo and Lazio. Several videos of Rome can also be found in this collection.

Other regions featured in the video collections include Ligura and the ever-popular Cinque Terre; northeastern Italy and the scenic Dolomites; Milan and the rest of northwestern Italy; southern Italy and the Amalfi Coast; and charming Tuscany, which includes picturesque Florence.

Italy remains one of the more popular places for drone pilots to bring their quadcopters and is one of just many locations featured in the “Countries” collection of videos on AirVuz. Plenty more curated video collections with top-notch footage from world-class drone pilots can also be found on AirVuz.com, with topics ranging from action sports filmed with racing drones, ancient ruins, videos of dolphins and much more.
