Icom was very pleased by the fleet and industry turn-out at GTSE last week in Tacoma, WA. Albert Venezio Chairman of ICOM, with 25 years of experience in the Alternative Fuels industry globally, noted: “The very high level of the panel, presentations, presenters and moderators at the seminars on the various facets and sectors of the alternatives fuels industry and the interaction with the audiences was excellent.Having fleets tell their story on their path and utilization of alternatives fuels is key. The turn-out for the expo was high including a large number of fleets. Well done Columbia-Willamette Clean Cities Coalition and the team at GTSE.”
“This was a wonderful expo for ICOM, our dealers (Wolff Specialties WA, the Advanced Vehicle Technology Center at Linn Benton OR and Hiller Truck Tech-Canada), fuel supply partners (Ferrellgas and Blue Star Gas) and especially our fleet partners who exhibited vehicles in our booth (Weyerhaeuser-Propane/Diesel Kenworth HD truck, Kings County WA-Natural Gas/Diesel HD truck and the city of Longview WA-propane bifuel pickup truck).Fleets were able to see and better understand the optimum use of alternative fuels, vehicles and products to help ascertain what works best for them.
Also understanding deeply: Energy Resiliency, where gasoline-but especially-diesel fuel pricing and availability seem to be going and to identify the true Cradle to Grave emissions (not just the hype) of alternative fueled vehicles is a critical part of the equation to choosing which alternative fuel(s) best suits their fleet.” noted Venezio.
