Argueso has been providing valuation and consulting services for a decade and specializes in compensation and telemedicine valuation. He is a national subject matter expert in the valuation of compensation arrangements between hospitals and medical groups with staff and medically direct hospital-based service lines, such as anesthesiology, emergency, hospitalist, and radiology departments. Additionally, as an established thought leader in fair market value and commercial reasonableness for telemedicine businesses and service arrangements, he consults with clients to improve efficiency, quality, and compliance in these areas. He also has experience providing litigation support and consulting services for healthcare entities. Argueso holds a Bachelor of Arts in economics from Princeton University. Ferrari has more than 23 years’ experience in the healthcare industry and has been with HealthCare Appraisers for more than 11 years. She speaks and publishes regularly on topics related to fair market value and commercial reasonableness in healthcare transactions, focusing on the nuances and complexity of these concepts, on factors affecting their determination, and on their potential role in government investigations and legal proceedings. Ferrari works with clients in all 50 states, and some internationally, and is known for her work related to: clinically integrated networks; physician gainsharing; provider quality initiatives such as in the context of hospital quality and efficiency programs; clinical research and payments for clinical research; and compensation for academic and “Rockstar” physicians. Ferrari is a member of the Florida Bar and is a former Licensed Healthcare Risk Manager in Florida. She is an active member of the American Health Lawyer’s Association, and currently serves as Chair of the Public Health System Group, which provides an educational forum and resource for more than one-thousand public hospitals and health systems in the United States, including safety net hospitals and state supported academic institutions. Ferrari received a Juris Doctor and Master of Public Health from Boston University and a Bachelor of Arts in economics from Smith College.
