Former IBM Global CISO and CIO of NSA Join Privva’s Cybersecurity Advisory Board

Industry Experts Join Privva’s Advisory Board 

Privva is delighted to announce the formation of our new Advisory Board. This board will help shape and guide the strategy of the Privva third-party risk management platform.

The initial members of the advisory board are:

Joanne L. Martin - IBM, Former global Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) and VP of IT Risk

Joanne brings with her more than 30 years of progressively responsible technical and business experience at IBM, which culminated in her role as their global CISO and vice president for IT risk. During her time with IBM, she led a global technical community of 200,000 people and was instrumental in the development of the company’s IT risk program and IT security architecture. She was also responsible for the performance architecture behind the company’s first supercomputer. Joanne began her career at the Los Alamos National Laboratory, where she conducted the first comprehensive analysis of the scientific workload and its relationship to the performance of supercomputers. 

Lonny Anderson - Former Chief Information Officer (CIO) for the National Security Agency/Central Security Service

Lonny is a proven leader with 36 years of DoD and Intelligence Community experience. A recognized leader in the support of the National Intelligence mission, Mr. Anderson has expertise in counterterrorism and signal intelligence operations. Mr. Anderson dramatically changed the way the NSA/CSS collects, delivers, shares information in direct support of the national-level decision makers and the warfighter.

Mr. Anderson served as the Director of Technology and Chief Information Officer (CIO) for the National Security Agency/Central Security Service. In this role, Mr. Anderson serves as the principal for all functions and authorities related to information technology and technology infrastructure for NSA/CSS across the Extended Enterprise.
