In the midst of state mandated restaurant restrictions released across the country this week, one company finds itself actively recruiting for food service workers. Culinary Services Group is a contract food service provider that employs more than 500 people nationwide. They prepare and serve food in senior nursing facilities, regional hospitals and behavioral health centers. Since their services are considered life-sustaining and essential, they are actively hiring food service workers to maintain staffing patterns in the facilities they serve.
Culinary Services Group is hoping to hire some of the restaurant workers who may have lost their jobs as a result of the coronavirus crisis. They operate in 11 states on the east coast including Connecticut, New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Virginia, West Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina and Alabama. They offer competitive wages for hourly positions including cooks, servers, diet aides, dishwashers and utility workers.
Restaurant workers in need of a job are encouraged to apply online at the company’s website via their careers page. Those that don’t see a position in their area can still submit their application information at the bottom of the page. The company is growing and looking to staff several new opportunities in the coming months.
