About Dr. W. Marshall Guy and Dr. Guy Facial Plastic Surgery
Going into medicine was an easy decision for Dr. W. Marshall Guy. In fact, it’s the only career he ever saw himself pursuing. In his early studies, the human body fascinated him, and biology and science were his natural curiosities in school. Dr. Guy made it his life's mission not only to become a doctor but also to lead his field by focusing on his studies and honing his ability to understand his patients' desires.
Dr. Guy graduated at the very top of his class in every educational institution he attended. He was highest ranking graduate of his class at St. Thomas High School in Houston, TX, and was admitted into the National Honor Society before going on to complete his undergraduate studies at the University of Texas at Austin. At UT Austin, Dr. Guy graduated with highest honors and a 4.0 GPA.
Dr. Guy chose Baylor College of Medicine in Houston for his medical school training and worked as a teaching assistant and instructor for anatomy courses focused on the head and neck. He graduated number one in his class with highest honors after acing the United States Medical Licensing Exams. He was selected for a highly competitive residency at the Bobby R. Alford Department of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery, which is where he focused his learning on the intricate systems of the nose, face, head, and neck.
Finally, Dr. Guy was fortunate to become a senior fellow at the McCollough Plastic Surgery Institute in Gulf Shores, Alabama, where he trained under renowned plastic surgeons Dr. E. Gaylon McCollough and Fred Fedok.
