With over two decades of experience as a Military Officer, Surgeon, Instructor and Coach, Dr. Arnold has certainly proven herself as an extraordinary professional and expert in the field. She is a dynamic, results-driven leader who has demonstrated success not only as an Integrative Medical Professional but in every role she has ever served. Dr. Arnold is the Founder and CEO of Dr. Wendy’s Achieve Vitality Experience (Dr. WAVE). She has trained and mentored upcoming leaders both in the military and private sectors through leadership development and health to maximize performance at work and enhance their quality of life.

Before embarking on her professional career path as a trusted Physician and Surgeon, Dr. Arnold received her Bachelor of Arts while majoring in both Business Administration and Journalism. She continued her studies and completed enough credits to attend the Uniformed Services University and graduated with a Medical Degree in 2008. This school has more credit hours than any traditional American Medical School. Her additional training is focused on entomology, parasitology and trauma training in simulated combat environments. Dr. Arnold earned her Board Certification in 2011 for Family Medicine. She was selected to attend Medical Acupuncture Training during her residency. She followed this achievement by completing an Obstetrical Fellowship and continued on to receive a second Board Certification in Integrative Medicine. Her multi-faceted background influences her to practice, understand and appreciate pharmaceuticals and surgeries, but to prefer alternative approaches for health and wellness whenever possible.
As for Dr. Wendy Arnold’s leadership roles, she has continually excelled as a Marine and Naval Officer and as a Marine Special Operations Task Force Surgeon in Afghanistan. She is beyond equipped to lead under pressure and is considered an award-winning teacher and leader. She has fit into the role of Series Commander and Executive Officer at recruit training and has guided several teams of Drill Instructors. During Medical School, she served as the Student Company Commander for the entire four years. During her tenure as graduate medical education faculty, she was selected for the position of Associate Program Director and was responsible for the administrative oversight and mentorship for over 40 Family Medical Resident Physicians. Currently, Dr. Arnold holds her position in the Navy as the Force Surgeon for the 1st Marine Logistics Group. She is the special staff advisor to the Commanding General (CEO equivalent) for all medical operational and readiness, (deployability and wellness) that reaches 8,500 personnel and has an annual budget of $100 million.
Throughout her remarkable career, Dr. Wendy Arnold has received many awards and accolades
and has been recognized in numerous publications and magazines worldwide for her
outstanding leadership roles and commitment to the Integrative Medicine field. For 2020, she is being considered for a Front Cover feature in T.I.P. (Top Industry Professional) Magazine and is being honored as Top Physician of the Year in Integrative Health by the International Association of Top Professionals (IAOTP). She was awarded the Inaugural Resident Teaching Award at the Naval Hospital Camp Lejeune upon her graduation in 2011. During her three years as the Faculty and Associate Program Director at Graduate Medical Education (GME) at Naval Hospital Camp Pendleton, she was awarded the Family Medicine Staff of the Year Award all three years.

Aside from her successful career, Dr. Arnold is a faculty Advisor for the Advanced Life Support in Obstetrics Course, which enables her to initiate trainings and host instructors internationally. She is an auricular acupuncture instructor and teaches providers worldwide her skills. Dr. Arnold has been a sought-after speaker at the National Family Medicine Conference for her Integrative approach to pain management. She was asked to speak in Argentina by the Director of Emergency Medicine in Buenos Aires, about trauma and disaster medicine. Dr. Arnold is also the appointed Assistant Clinical Professor at Rocky Vista University, CO for her contributions and published studies of their medical students and training of medical students at Strategic Operations in San Diego, CA.
Looking back, Dr. Arnold attributes her success to her perseverance, fearlessness and mentors she has had along the way. She has a true passion for her service and high integrity in all of her professional and personal endeavors. When not working, she enjoys training her German Shephard and riding her sport bikes on racetracks.
