Dr. Shahnoz Rustamova, OB/GYN Owner of Central Park Medical, Central Park Cosmetics, and Founder of non-profit CPMP Angels was just recently selected as “Non Profit of the Year” for 2019, Woman of the Year for 2018, and Humanitarian of the Year for 2017, by the International Association of Top Professionals (IAOTP).
While inclusion with the International Association of Top Professionals is an honor in itself, only 1 person is selected as “Top Non Profit of the Year”, 1 woman is selected as “Woman of the Year” and only 1 individual is selected as the “Humanitarian of the Year.” Dr. Rustamova is being recognized for her exemplary efforts and outstanding dedication in order to better society. The President of IAOTP Stephanie Cirami stated, “Choosing Dr. Rustamova for this award was an easy decision for our panel to make. She is an empowered brilliant woman who has gone above and beyond not only in her field but has demonstrated success professionally, personally and has been a leader in her community. Dr. Rustamova has made an impact on people’s lives around the world and has given selflessly and tirelessly in order to help people. Her Non Profit Central Park Angels allows for her and her team to travel to impoverished countries to administer health care, help to provide food and clothing, and she helps to teach the people of the villages how to make a sustainable way of life. We couldn’t be more proud to have her representing IAOTP as not only our Woman of the Year but now as our Top Non Profit of the Year and we cannot wait to honor her at this year’s gala.”
IAOTP will be recognizing Dr. Rustamova for her philanthropic efforts at their 2018 Annual Awards Gala. Dr. Rustamova was just recently honored as the Woman of the Year at IAOTP’s 2017 Annual Award Gala at the Ritz Carlton in Battery Park, NYC and she also was asked to speak about her non-profit she just recently founded CPMP Angels. She gave a very emotional speech describing life for her growing up hungry, without food and trying to survive. Throughout her career Dr. Rustamova and her team have travelled to rural villages in Nepal, India and Haiti to combat malnutrition, provide basic medical care, test for TB, HIV and other STD’s. Her and her team have volunteered, shared their medical wisdom and given support to help the needs of the community. In 2016 Dr. Rustamova was awarded the Humanitarian of the Year by IAOTP for the amazing work her and her team have done to try to make the world a better place. Dr. Rustamova has been recognized worldwide and she has received numerous awards for her outstanding leadership and commitment to the profession. In 2007 she was the recipient of “Resident of the Year Award” and “Best Teaching Resident” by Jamaica Hospital Department of OB/GYN. She was listed as “Top Doctor” with American Registry from 2010-2016. She was the recipient of the Patient’s Choice Award as “Best OB/GYN”, Selected as a “Top 101 Industry Expert” with Worldwide Branding and chosen to grace the front cover of Pro-Files Magazine. For 2016 selected as Top Doctor of the Year, 2017 named Humanitarian of the Year, 2018 selected as “Woman of the Year” and graced the front cover of TIP (Top Industry Professionals) Magazine. For 2019 she will be honored and named “Top Non Profit of the Year” by the International Association of Top Professionals. Dr. Rustamova remains as an active member with the North American Menopause Society (NAMS), the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, the American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine, the International Society of Cosmetogynecology and was certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG). She received her Medical Degree with Samarkand State Medical Institute and finished her Residency with Jamaica Hospital Medical Center. She speaks English, Farsi, Russian, Uzbek and is affiliated with St. Luke’s Roosevelt, and Queens Hospital.
