Dr. Petra Seidler, Independent Finance and Management Consultant/Executive-Utilities, Infrastructure and PR Media Manager was recently selected as Top Consultant of the Decade for 2020 by the International Association of Top Professionals IAOTP.
Inclusion with the International Association of Top Professionals is an honor in itself, only 1 Consultant is selected for this distinction. Dr. Seidler is being recognized for this honor for having over two decades of professional experience as an Independent Change Management Consultant. She was recently honored at IAOTP’s 2019 Annual Awards Gala at the Bellagio Hotel in Las Vegas for her selection as Empowered Woman of the Year. As a financial and management consultant, Dr. Seidler is also a leader in setting up electricity in Afghanistan and serving as project manager for donor financed projects which help in rebuilding infrastructure and developing sustainable solutions for economic growth.
Dr. Seidler’s key objectives are to bring peace to countries during or after war or a natural disaster and to help build stability through economic development. She has worked in countries such as Afghanistan, Armenia, Ukraine, Egypt, Syria, Uzbekistan and Tajikistan. For the last seven years she was serving as Head of the Regional Infrastructure Development Fund (RIDF) for Afghanistan, a German Government financed program donated with 120m Euro. The program combines civil engineering with capacity development for government authorities in North Afghanistan.
Dr. Seidler’s key areas of expertise include bringing power supplies, water/wastewater, irrigation, flood protection and road construction to war-torn and devastated regions. Her impressive repertoire of prior projects included World Bank, ADB, European Commission, EBRD and German Development Bank KFW.
Since 2018 she has successfully led a team of consultants and engineers supporting the Ministry of Regional Development in Kiev, Ukraine to implement the municipal investment programme UMIP, financed by the European Investment Bank with 400m Euro and co-financed by the government of Ukraine and other donors with another 400m Euro. Dr. Seidler also is the Founder and President of the Dr. Petra German Medical Clinic in Kabul, maintaining responsibility for overseeing all business operations as the owner of the company.
Dr. Seidler earned her PhD in International Economic Relations and a PhD in Finance credit and procurement, from the University of St. Petersburg with summa cum laude. She is also recognized in Germany as a Russian Chartered Translator and a Certified Expert of Consolidation of Accounts.

Throughout her illustrious career Dr. Seidler has received many awards, accolades and has been recognized worldwide for her outstanding merits and devotion to the profession. This year she will be featured again on the Reuters Building in Times Square and she will be interviewed on T.I.P. (Top Industry Professionals) Radio. For 2019 she graced the front cover of TIP (Top Industry Professionals) Magazine and was selected for the Empowered Woman of the Year Award the International Association of Top Professionals (IAOTP). For 2018 she was selected as Top Consultant of the Year in Change Management by IAOTP. She was featured in Elite Women Worldwide, recipient of the Albert Nelson Marquis Who’s Who Lifetime Achievement Award and is listed among Who’s Who of Professional Women. In 2008, she was selected to receive the Silver Medal St. Peter of Honour from the Patriarch of the Russian Orthodox Church for Charity and for her founding and implementing the Easter Music Festival in St. Petersburg, Russia, from 1992 to 1998.
Looking back, Dr. Seidler attributes her success to her perseverance, mentors she has had along the way, and staying passionate in all her endeavors. When not working, she enjoys swimming, writing and spending time with her family. For the future, she will continue to bring change, peace and wants to continue to make a difference in people’s lives any way she can.
