DJ Bander’s new single, Last Sunset, peaked at number 48 on Beatport’s Progressive House Top 100 Chart within a week of its release. The single features vocals performed by DJ Bander himself: “I usually collaborate with vocalists to sing on my instrumentals. However, after producing the instrumental for Last Sunset, I felt especially connected to the music….it was almost like a living, breathing part of me. I knew that the only way to complete the song with the same level of authenticity was for me to perform the vocals myself,” says DJ Bander. In case you’re wondering, his passion absolutely translates through the music -and he sounds just as incredible on the microphone as he does on the keys. His unique, edgy vocals will definitely draw you in.
This is DJ Bander’s second time breaking the top 50 on the Beatport Progressive House Chart. DJ Bander’s single, NASA, peaked at number 42 in July 2019. The DJ Pools cant get enough of his music. DJ Bander says it best:
“It was definitely a hot summer to say the least.”
On September 11, 2019, DJ Bander announced that a generous portion of Last Sunset’s proceeds will go towards the FealGood Foundation. “We must never take for granted the brave first responders who put their lives on the line for our safety. New York City will forever be home to me,” proudly states the Brooklyn native, DJ Bander. For him, this is the perfect career scenario. “To be able to give back to others while doing what I love the most is all I could ever ask for,” says DJ Bander.
