Culinary Services Group announces it has been granted a food service contract with Wallick Communities in Toledo, Ohio. The contract has been signed for 3 years and will include both management of the dietary staff and food procurement for the Oakleaf Village of Sylvania and The Grove at Oakleaf Village. Culinary Services Group has also been selected as the dining services advisor for the Crescent at Oakleaf Village, an independent living community opening in the spring of 2021. Once open, Culinary Services Group will also provide food service for the new community. The contract will begin in early August of 2020.

During the selection process, the Wallick Communities’ goal was to elevate the dining experience for their residents and to stand out as a preferred provider in the Toledo area. Culinary Services Group is a food management company with a reputation for providing from-scratch cooking and fresh, high-quality ingredients, along with custom menus. The company proposed several flexible solutions to the Wallick Communities but believes hosting site visits at other locations that have Culinary Services Group as a foodservice provider contributed greatly to their choice.
Both Wallick Communities and Culinary Services Group believe the partnership will provide consistency and stability to the selected communities’ dining programs. Culinary Services Group hopes the partnership will give them the opportunity to provide dining services to Wallick’s six other locations located throughout Ohio. Culinary Services Group already has operations in the Dayton area and is looking to build a solid footprint in Ohio.
