Lisa Hamm Appointed to Leadership Role Overseeing the Financial Health of Leading Practice Management Software Company
Cloud 9 Software, an industry leader in cloud-based practice management, announced the hiring of Lisa Hamm as the company’s Chief Financial Officer. Hamm has a robust financial background spanning public accounting, international finance, mergers and acquisitions, post-acquisition integration and private equity consulting. She will oversee the financial health of the company, including identifying its strengths and building up on them to help maintain and further Cloud 9’s position as a cutting-edge provider of orthodontic practice management software.
Prior to joining Cloud 9 Software, Hamm spent a year and a half in private equity consulting to add to her extensive experience in the technology and software industries. Hamm said she “definitely believes in giving back,” and has spent many years volunteering as a case worker for the St. Vincent de Paul Society, an organization that provides financial assistance, counseling and other programs to empower others to achieve self-sufficiency.
Hamm said she was drawn to the position at Cloud 9 because of the company’s potential. “The potential is huge,” she said. “That challenge is very appealing to me.” She also praised the care company founders Ken and Ann Swinney took in selecting a new head of finance. “That sealed the deal for me,” said Hamm.

A graduate of the University of Georgia, Hamm is a native of Houston, Texas, but was transferred with her family to the Atlanta area when she was in high school. She and her husband of 30 years have two grown children.
