Briotix Health, the industry leading provider of workforce performance optimization solutions, will deliver three presentations at the National Ergonomics Conference & ErgoExpo, sharing case study results on virtual ergonomic solutions, wearable sensor technology, and the use of occupational exoskeletons in the workplace.
Julie Landis, Vice President of Briotix Health, will explore two case studies in which the implementation of a virtual ergonomics program both improved employee health and saved companies’ money. The presentation, Making Virtual a Reality: Reducing Costs and Improving Outcomes with Virtual Ergonomics, will be offered on Wednesday, August 21 from 2:15-3:15 p.m. Results from the studies shared will demonstrate the overall effectiveness of virtual ergonomics and cost reduction of virtual services when compared to onsite programs.
Matt Marino, Innovation and Consulting Specialist at Briotix Health, will be presenting two sessions on the use of next-generation technology to reduce the risk of injuries in the workplace. His first presentation, Wearable Sensor Use in the Workplace on Tuesday, August 20 from 1:15-3:45 p.m., will provide examples of how wearable sensors are being used in the workplace and discuss the benefits, pitfalls, and practical considerations of using the technology.
In his second presentation, Occupational Exoskeletons in the Hierarchy of Controls on Wednesday, August 21 from 2:15-3:15 p.m., Matt will discuss where exoskeletons fit within three control hierarchies that can solve ergonomic problems in the workplace and learn how to go about estimating their effectiveness.
Conference attendees are encouraged to visit Julie, Matt, and the rest of the Briotix Health team at booth #419 to learn about how Briotix Health’s injury prevention tools leverage technology in a purposeful way to reduce the individual and organizational costs of musculoskeletal disorders.
