Frying turkey has become a wildly popular trend over the past few decades because it produces moist and tender results much quicker than a traditional oven-roast. Additionally, many people inject their turkeys with marinades to bring out even more delicious flavors for the holiday feast.

Reported deep fryer fires resulted in an average of nearly $16.5 million in property damage each year from 2012–16, causing several deaths and dozens of injuries in the process.
