Currently, Dr. Lamptey is the founding President and CEO of Envaserv Research Consult (ERC) Ltd. a leading multidisciplinary ISO certified (ISO 9001:2015) environmental consultancy and ISO accredited (ISO/IEC 17025:2017) environmental testing laboratory company in Ghana, Africa.
Dr. Lamptey has renowned experience within the fields of environmental management, business development, local governance, and a well-established career in academics, business and politics. He is a sought-after environmental and social scientist. Dr. Lamptey is widely recognized for his consultancy history and for his expertise in multi-disciplinary environmental services for diverse industries including oil and gas, mining, construction, manufacturing, agriculture, telecommunication, transportation and real estate.
Dr. Lamptey is highly skilled in water/effluent, soil/sediment quality and contamination assessments, marine and onshore baseline studies, biodiversity and ecosystem services, ecological capital studies, emissions and air quality modeling. Dr. Lamptey has additional focus on emerging markets for business development and has the honor of providing strategic management and business guidance to Envaserv Research Consult.
Before embarking on his professional career path, Dr. Emmanuel Lamptey earned his PhD in Oceanography from the University of Ghana, Legon, Africa.
Throughout his illustrious career, Dr. Lamptey has received awards, accolades and is continually recognized worldwide for his expertise in environmental solutions. This year he is being considered for a feature article in TIP (Top Industry Professional) Magazine and for the Lifetime Achievement Award given by the International Association of Top Professionals (IAOTP). He will be honored for his distinction as Top Business Global Leader of the Year for 2022 at IAOTP’s Annual Awards Gala West being held at the Bellagio Hotel in Las Vegas, USA this December.
